Quinoa is a popular dish among many people not only because it’s packed with valuable nutrients but also because of numerous health benefits that come with it. -Two cups of quinoa, rinsed
-Two cloves Garlic, peeled and minced
-Kosher salt-Four cups of water
-10 to 12 basil leaves (cut into thick ribbons)
-Two tablespoons virgin olive oil-Freshly ground black pepper
-Half pound cherry tomatoes
Recipe for Preparing
1. Combine quinoa, 1/2 teaspoon of kosher salt, water and garlic and bring them to boil. Stir occasionally while reducing the heat to a low and let it simmer for about 15 minutes.
2. Remove the mixture from the heat and put it aside. Leave it to cool for about 15 minutes and then chill it for at least two hours in a refrigerator.
3. Put the chilled quinoa in a serving bowl and those it with olive oil, tomatoes, basil, salt and pepper to flavor it.
4. Serve it salad or side dish
